Profession:
About Me
Software Engineer / Game Programmer.
Eager and adaptable game programmer with 3 years of hands-on development experience across Unreal Engine, Unity, and Roblox, gained while studying at Staffordshire University. I thrive on building immersive, interactive systems — from inventory logic and UI synchronisation to modular power-up mechanics — and I’m driven by a deep curiosity to understand how things work under the hood. I’m seeking opportunities to expand my programming expertise by contributing to engaging player experiences and solving real-world development challenges. With a strong foundation in C++, C#, and Lua, and a commitment to ongoing learning, I aim to push the boundaries of gameplay systems and leave a lasting impact on the industry.

Portfolio
Below are peices of work which I have developed both as part of a team and by myself:
Roblox RPG
2025 - In Progress
Type: Group Project
- Modelled a Japanese theme village level including placing pre-made assets in appropriate positions to enhance the aesthetic
- Started programming an inventory system and object to store, object is pickupable but does not add to inventory yet
- Designed and programmed a health system and gave the player the ability to sprint
- Adapted to the roblox studio tools and used them to improve level design and programs
- Used community scripts within the project to add functionality, I debugged problems and modified code to create a more suitable script for the team
- Demo video here!
Crack-Man
2025 - Present
Type: Personal Project
- Pac-man style Game with a comedic twist
- Players use their cash or points to buy special pellets which effect gameplay
- Levels have the ability to generate from a text file using special characters to identify spawn, enemies, walls etc, this way levels can be generated
- This game is currently an MVP (Minimal Viable Product) but is missing core fundemental mechanics at the moment
Hole in the Wall Multiplayer Prototype
2025 - 2025
Type: Challenge Project
- First ever attempt at a multiplayer project implementing gameplay mechanics to influence competetive play
- Implemented object wave spawner to spawn obstacles players are required to avoid in order to score points
- Random starting locations to esnure players spawned seperately from each other (doesnt always work)
- Networking implementations to ensure client and host communication worked and sessions were synchronised
- Created managers which made obstacles harder to avoid over time
Catstronaut
2025 - 2025
Type: University Group Project
- This project was lead by myself and 4 other individuals, I belogned to the tech team
- Developed a Creature class which dictated base creature behaviour which designers used to create new creatures
- Developed a Weapon class which dictated base weapon behaviour which designers used to create new weapons
- Used the Unreal tools available to create a basic mini map by utilising camera components to capture the characters location on the map
- Created data tables to manage creature walk speed, strength, meshes etc for easy creature design, it also regenerated creatures if values changed
Team Plague Project
2024 - In Progress
Type: Group Project
- Developed a complex inventory system with slot assignment which compares item size to slot availability and assignes items to correct slots
- All items retrieve their data including their mesh, size etc from a data table designers can use to replace or adjust within the game world
- Created a solution for a puzzle which required the validation of the rotation of dial hands to check the state of the puzzle, if complete it activates an elevator on overlap
- Information about this project is restricted but more will be revealed as development continues, More updates Soon when permitted
- Demo video here!
2D Platformer
2023 - 2024
Type: University Project
- This video presents work created for a University project which acheived a Second class grade
- The video shows off a working project of a very short game which is meant to demonstrate forgiveness mechanics
- Project is considered finished but has not been polished
3D C++ Learning Project
2023 - 2024
Type: University Project
- This video presents work created for a University project which acheived a First class grade
- Shows off basic AI, Doors and mechanics which were scripted using C++
- This shows early achievements accomplished when I was first learning C++
